The Horse Park Asscoiation is a non-profit corporation, which was established to develop, maintain and operate the Buckeye Horse Park. The Association is dedicated to the encouragment and preservation of the horse in sport and recreation. The Horse Park Association has worked diligently to expand the activities and make capital improvements at the park.

The Buckeye Horse Park is continuing its BUILDING FIND DRIVE to generate funds to:

•Replace cross country jumps
•Upgrade entire cross country course
•Improve drainage near main ring
•Straighten fence for main ring
•Increase the number of disciplines represented
•Promote clinics for horse related education
•Reconstruct main ring footing
•Paint two barns and Gail Dennison Building
•Repair drives
•Develop awareness in the community
•Make needed repairs to house and update it
•Build a sponsor board near Gail Dennison Building

The procedure for donating to The Buckeye Horse Park via Mill Creek Foundation: All contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law under IRS Provision 501 (C3). The Federal identification number for Mill Creek Park Foundation is 34-1490268. Checks for less than $100 are to be made out to the Mill Creek Park Foundation with a note on the check memo line that directs the funds to the Buckeye Horse Park. Mail checks to the Mill Creek Foundation, P.O. Box 596, Canfield, OH 44406. Checks larger than $100 are to be made out to the Youngstown Foundation Support Fund with a note on the check memo line to direct funds to the Mill Creek Park Foundation - Buckeye Horse Park Account. Mail the check to the Youngstown Foundation Support Fund, P.O. Box 1162 Youngstown, OH 44501. Contributions of $100 or more may be eligible for a 5% enhancement through the Youngstown Foundation Support Fund. The maximum amount of enhancement is $250 on a $5,000 donation. Any donation greater than $5,000 will receive the $250 enhancement. Buckeye Horse Park is NOT supported by the taxpayers of Mahoning County or the Mill Creek MetroPark District. Buckeye Horse Park is solely supported by fundraising, grants, memberships, shows and individual donations.
